While writing about fictional people in made up places definitely comes easier to me, I'm happy to introduce myself—though don't expect anything eloquent!

I've been a reader my whole life; my parents even have videos of my toddler self throwing a fit because the librarian gave me (gasp) picture books instead of books with only words. Creating my own worlds has also been something that has come naturally to me since I was small, and I have entire storage totes full of notebooks and printed out short stories from my youth.

More on the personal side, I am a dog mom of three rescues (who love to keep my husband and me on our toes!). My husband and I typically spend our free time together playing board games, exploring new coffee shops, and browsing our favorite local secondhand bookstores—because, of course, he's a reader too.
